How status is computed

Three states, derived from the next due date

Nothing is entered by hand. The status shown on the profile and in reminders follows from the recorded dates.

How the record gets used

The tracker exists so a vaccination record can be shown, not just stored.

01 — COLLAR TAG

Wear the record

Print a QR collar tag and fasten it. The tag carries the animal's public profile, not just an ID number.

02 — SCAN

Anyone can verify

A resident, an RWa member or a municipal officer scans with a phone camera and sees the published vaccination and ABC status. No app needed.

03 — SIGHTING

Report an injured animal

The finder submits their GPS location and a message. Every registered feeder and the nearest clinic are notified with the sighting pinned on a map.

Questions

About the stray vaccination tracker

Can community feeders use this for free?

Yes. Individual feeders and volunteer networks can register community animals for free to log ARV vaccination records, sterilisation status and emergency feeder contacts. The shelter and NGO console is for organisations; community profiles are open to all.

Does it track Anti-Rabies vaccination specifically?

Yes. ARV is a first-class vaccine type with batch number, clinic, given date and next due date. Automated reminders flag overdue, due-soon and up-to-date status, and the public profile shows a verified ARV badge when the record is current.

Can I prove ABC sterilisation status to municipal authorities?

Yes. The neutered or spayed flag is recorded on each animal. The public profile, accessed by scanning the QR collar tag, displays a verified sterilisation badge. This helps feeders demonstrate compliance with municipal ABC rules and prevents unnecessary capture.

What happens when a tagged stray dog is found?

Anyone scanning the QR collar tag sees the photograph, ARV status, ABC status, feeder contacts and medical notes. They can submit a GPS sighting with a message, which notifies the feeder network instantly and helps reunite a lost community dog or get an injured animal help.
